The goal of the K-5 NGSS Resources is to provide information for each standard and sample resources for teachers. This set of resources is not intended to be complete for each standard. Instead, they are to provide opportunities for teachers to examine lessons that fit within the specific content of the standards. When possible, lessons that address the performance expectations are included. It is important to note that the performance expectations are the endpoints of instruction and require an understanding of the disciplinary core ideas described in the standard. Several of these resources require you to log into an organization's website. All of these websites are free.
Connecting industry to every classroom We provide teachers the tools to connect curriculum with the real world by virtually inviting industry professionals into the classroom to engage and inspire students in STEAM!
Launched in 2013, Code.org® is a non-profit dedicated to expanding access to computer science, and increasing participation by women and underrepresented students of color. Our vision is that every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science. We believe computer science should be part of core curriculum, alongside other courses such as biology, chemistry or algebra.
